Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (215th, consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (209th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (196th consecutive day), Aqraba, Anabta, Beit Ummar, Salfit, Bani Na'im, Qalqilya, Kafr Radha, Sebastia, Al Shuyukh. During the day they raided Silwan, Qalandia refugee camp, Deir Razih, Bethlehem, Beit Liqya, Turmus Ayya, Illar, Al-Aizariya, Kafr Dan, Ni'lin, Artas. At least 12 Palestinians were arrested, 2 of them minors.
‣ The E1 plan is under way – constructing 3,400 residences for colonist on 12 sq.km. confiscated from Palestinians in the Mishor Adumim region and cutting off the area of Ramallah from that of Bethlehem (literally cutting off the northern West Bank from its southern part).
‣ Megiddo Prison – the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reports on the circumstances of incarcerated minors: cells that do not answer the minimal criteria of human rights and especially children’s rights required – insects, no hygiene, no air circulation, faulty lighting, isolation, starvation, verbal harassment, beatings, sexual abuse, collective punishment, prohibition of family visits. They arrive at legal encounters shackled hands and feet, a black sack on their heads.

1. Farsiyeh, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – attack against the community, wounding an inhabitant with a metal rod. He was hospitalized suffering bruises and fractures.
2. Taffuh, west of Hebron – new colonist outpost.
3. Duma, south-east of Nablus – colonists attack, inhabitants confront them. 2 colonists wounded by stones thrown. A soldier on leave shoots an inhabitant to death.
