Wednesday, August 13, 2025 – The Gaza Strip

General

In the past 24 hours:

◦ 8 persons died of starvation, 3 of them children;

◦ 123 persons killed (21 of them aid seekers), 437 wounded (185 of them aid seekers);

Since March 18, 2025 – 10,201 persons killed, 42,484 wounded;

Since May 27m 2025 – 1,859 persons killed, 13,594 wounded, all aid seekers;

◦ So far, 235 persons have died of starvation, 106 of them children.

Since October 7, 2023 – 61,722 persons killed, 154,525 wounded.

‣ In 17 days, there were 1,535 aid trucks let into the Gaza Strip, of the 10,200 trucks at least needed. 90% of the trucks let in were looted by starving people. The cargo falls off the trucks because Israel prevents proper tying.

‣ In the 3 days since the Israeli cabinet ratified an attack on Gaza City, the neighborhood of Al Zeitoun (south-east) is at the focus of this attack. So far, 300 houses have been destroyed, 3 entire families wiped off the face of the earth, and teams of rescuers prevented access, as well as shots fired at whoever dares enter the neighborhood.

‣ Tonight, too, Israelis prevented the entry of aid trucks.

Northern Strip

1. Shots fired at aid seekers and security guards in Al Siftawi area (north-west), 7 persons killed.

2. Machine-gun fire in the north-west.

Gaza City

1. West:

Sheikh Radwan – bombing, 3 persons killed;

Tel El Hawa – displaced persons tent bombed, 7 persons killed including 5 children.

2. East:

‣ Aerial bombing and massive artillery fire;

‣ Bombing of Al Tuffah, 3 persons killed.

3. South:

Al Zeitoun:

◦ Houses exploded and destroyed;

◦ House bombed, wounded persons;

◦ Residential building bombed;

◦ House bombed, 3 persons killed;

Al Sabra:

◦ House bombed, wounded persons;

◦ House bombed, one person killed.

Central Strip

1. Al Bureij refugee camp – artillery fire from the east.

2. Deir al-Balah:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers east of town, 4 persons killed;

‣ House bombed;

‣ Drone attack in the southern part of town, wounded persons;

‣ Another drone attack, one person killed.

3. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers in Wadi Gaza, 5 persons killed, 7 wounded;

‣ Artillery fire in northern part of camp.

Khan Yunis district

1. West:

Al Amal:

◦ Houses exploded and destroyed in the north-western part of town;

◦ Artillery fire at a house, 5 persons killed;

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers in the south-west, 10 persons killed;

‣ Bombing of Al Nassar Hospital compound.

2. North:

‣ Bombing of residential buildings at Hamad.

3. Center:

‣ Massive aerial bombing;

‣ Drone attack, 2 persons killed.

Rafah district

1. Shots fired at aid seekers in the north, killed and wounded persons.
