Sunday, September 27, 2026 – The Gaza Strip
General
1. Five Palestinians have been on hunger strike for two weeks at the Church of St. John the Baptist at the Béguinage (Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste au Béguinage) in Brussels, demanding that the Israeli military immediately allow their families, who hold Belgian family-reunification visas, to leave the Gaza Strip. Two of them were hospitalized today. Human rights organizations reported that approximately 1,500 people holding Belgian visas are unable to leave the Strip, because the Israeli military does not allow it.
