Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (63rd consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (57th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (43rd consecutive day), Atil, Hebron, Idna, Dura, Qalqilya, Beit Ummar, Nablus, Balata town, Al-Bireh, Beitunia, Birzeit, Balata refugee camp, Dheisheh refugee camp, Jalazone refugee camp, Beit Fajjar, Deir Ghasana, Qarawat Bani Zeid. During the day they raided Kafr Ein, Beit Rima, Shuafat refugee camp, Deir Ghazaleh, Azzun, Beit Furik, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Bani Na'im, Tell, Talfit, Ni'lin, Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya. At least 28 Palestinians were arrested, among them a woman as a hostage for giving herself in.

‣ The three residents of Susya who were detained were released, among them Hamdan Ballal, after 24 hours of being shackled and blindfolded, without legal consultation, and attacked. No charges of stone-throwing.
‣ Circumstances of the death of the 17-year-old prisoner in Megiddo Prison, about whom we reported yesterday are that he was ill and remained untreated.
Army attacks against Palestinians
1. Qalqilya – night raid and surrounding a house in Al Naqar neighborhood. Families expelled. Fire exchange ensues. The force fires 2 shoulder missiles at the house. 3. Kafr Ein, north-west of Ramallah – raid, house searches. An inhabitant beaten up and wounded. No arrest.
5. Deir Ghazaleh, north-east of Jenin – special forces surround vehicle. Prevent ambulance access. Later, 2 persons were reported wounded and passed on to Red Crescent.
6. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – raid and confrontations.
7. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron – night raid with teargas. Suffocations. Soldiers attack an ambulance team. Beat up its members, vandalize the vehicle and chase them away.
8. Ni'lin, west of Ramallah – soldiers raid, fire and wound an inhabitant, prevent medical treatment, write in Hebrew on his forehead and throw him close to a nearby colony.

9. Talfit, south-west of Nablus – a force fires at a bus near the checkpoint, smashes windows. No casualties. No arrests.
10. Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus – raid with live fire and stun grenades.
Palestinian attacks against the army
1. az-Za'ayyem, east of Jerusalem – a Palestinian waiting for inspection in his vehicle at the checkpoint allegedly attempted to run over a policeman. Tried to escape and was shot to death. No casualties among the policemen.
Demolitions
2. Tulkarm – vegetable greenhouse destroyed in north-western part of town.
