Jenin refugee camp

Raids and arrests

During the night Israeli forces raided Nur Shams refugee camp (3rd consecutive day), Far'a refugee camp (10th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp (16th consecutive day), Jenin refugee camp and town (22nd consecutive cay), Jaba', Al-Bireh, Beitunia, Tell, Tammun, Jalazone refugee camp, Azzun, Nablus. During the day they raided Deir Ibzi, Usarin, Sa'ir, Anin, Old Askar refugee camp, East Nablus, Al Shuyukh, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Deir Qaddis, Rummanah, Kafr Laqif, Anabta, Kafr al-Labad, Ramin, Shuqba, Qibya, Budrus, Ni'lin, Ya'bad, Al-Aizariya, Al Khader. At least 18 Palestinians were arrested, a minor among them.


Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm – 3rd consecutive day. Confrontations in Al Manshiya neighborhood, forces explode house, inhabitants still expelled under armed threats.

2. Jenin refugee camp and town – 21st consecutive day. Confrontations in eastern neighborhood of town, houses demolished in the neighborhood and prevention of ambulance access. Drone bombs houses.

3. Tulkarm refugee camp – 16th consecutive day. Destruction of infrastructures and shops.

4. Far'a refugee camp, south of Tubas – 10th consecutive day. Houses exploded.



5. Anin, west of Jenin – raid with stun grenades and teargas fired at schoolchildren during school time.

6. Sa'ir, north-east of Hebron – raid with live fire. Confrontations. One person killed (according to video he was not armed and threw stones) by shots in the chest. 4 other persons wounded, including a girl.



7. Azzun, east of Qalqilya – raid and confrontations.

8. Rummanah, north-west of Jenin – raid and confrontations.

9. Jalamah Checkpoint, north-east of Jenin – 6 persons wounded by attack of checkpoint soldiers.

10. Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarm – house under siege. One person wounded by live fire and arrested.

11. Bani Na'im, east of Hebron – soldiers attack police chief of PA in spite of coordination and ignoring his role.

12. Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron – confrontations. 3 persons wounded.

13. Al Khader, south-west of Bethlehem – raid with teargas and stun grenades.


Demolitions, confiscation and sequestering

1. Deir Ibzi, west of Ramallah – house destruction although legal discussion of it is not yet over.


2. Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem – dozens of immediate eviction and demolition orders.

3. Al Shuyukh, north of Hebron – quarry equipment confiscated.

4. Kafr Malik and Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah – confiscation announcement of 1,505 dunams of land from the villages.

5. Bardala, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – tractor confiscated.


Colonist attacks against Palestinians

375 colonist attacks counted during January.

1. Deir Istiya, north-west of Salfit – colonists attack farmers of the Wadi Qana area, vandalize their property.
