‣ In the past 48 hours, brought to hospitals were
◦ 28 persons killed (including 22 rescued bodies);
◦ 5 persons wounded.
‣ In addition, the Palestinian Ministry of Health updated the number of persons killed as it completed the registration of another 572 persons killed. Since October 7, 2023:
◦ 48,181 persons killed;
◦ 111,163 persons wounded.
‣ Fifth phase of first part of the ceasefire agreement:
◦ Release of Or Levy, Eli Shar’abi and Ohad Ben Ami. All three are in severe physical and mental condition, suffering from starvation and signs of abuse;
◦ In exchange, Israel released 183 Palestinian prisoners and detainees;
◦ 111 of them are detained since October 7, 2023, Gazans with no charges;
◦ 72 are inhabitants of the West Bank, 18 sentenced to life-imprisonment, 54 to lengthy prison sentences. 7 expelled to Egypt, some of the released suffer severe physical and mental condition, showing signs of abuse and starvation.
‣ A seventh group of treated patients evacuated to Egypt, including the Al Jazeera journalist Fadi Al Wahidi, shot on September 9, 2024 and critically wounded.
So far, in spite of many appeals, Israel has refused to evacuate him and did not get proper medical treatment.
‣ Machine-gun fire east of Al-Qarara (north-east of Khan Yunis);
‣ Machine-gun fire at Salah A Din Road in the Central Strip;
‣ Drone attacks vehicle on Al Rashid Road.
