Wednesday, September 11, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

General

From noon September 10th until noon September 11th:

‣ 60 bodies and 104 wounded persons brought to hospitals;

‣ Since October 7, 2023:

◦ 41.084 persons killed;

◦ 95,029 persons wounded.

‣ 2 soldiers killed, 8 wounded, 4 of them badly, in a Blackhawk helicopter crash on Philadelphi Road during a mission of rescuing a wounded person;

‣ 82.5% of the children of the Gaza Strip up to the age of ten have been vaccinated in one dose or another against Polio. The vaccination drive will continue until September 12th.

Northern Strip

1. Gaza City:

‣ Al Sabra (south) – tank fire;

‣ Al Zeitoun (south-east) – artillery fire. Aerial bombing. Helicopter fire;

‣ Al Maser (west) – house bombed, 3 persons killed, 7 wounded;

‣ Al Tufah (east) – house bombed, 4 persons killed.

2. Jabalia refugee camp – house bombed. Artillery fire.

Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Artillery fire from the north, several times;

‣ House bombed from the north, wounded persons;

‣ House bombed, 4 persons killed;

‣ Aerial bombing in the north-western part of town;

‣ Al-Jawni School sheltering displaced persons bombed for the fifth time,

15 persons killed and dozens wounded.

2. Al Bureij refugee camp – artillery fire. Aerial bombing. Machine-gun fire.

Southern Strip

1. Khan Yunis:

‣ Shelling from the sea at Al Mawasi, a fisherman killed;

‣ House bombed in Khuza'a (east), 13 persons killed;

‣ Helicopter fire at Khuza'a;

‣ Aerial bombing in town, wounded persons.

2. Rafah:

‣ Artillery fire north-west of town;

‣ School north-west of town bombed, wounded persons.
