Wednesday, August 28, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

General

‣ From August 27th until August 28th, 85 bodies brought to hospitals, 133 persons wounded;

‣ Since October 7, 2023:

◦ 40,534 persons killed;

◦ 93,778 persons wounded.

‣ World Kitchen Organization announced suspending their activity due to shots fired at an organization-identified by Israeli soldiers near the checkpoint;

‣ 2 Israeli soldiers killed in battle.

Deir al balah

Northern Strip

1. Jabalia refugee camp – aerial bombing, 5 persons killed, children among them.

2. Gaza City:

‣ Sheikh Ijlin (north-west) – aerial bombing;

‣ Al Sabra (south) – aerial bombing;

‣ Tel Al Hawa (south-west) – aerial bombing;

‣ Al Zeitoun (south-east) – aerial bombing. Artillery fire. House bombed, one person killed and others wounded. Drone fire. Bombing east of the neighborhood, 2 persons killed;

‣ Al Rimal (center) 0 house bombed, killed and wounded persons.

Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ House bombed, journalist killed;

‣ Artillery fire from north of the camp;

‣ Family home bombed;

‣ Aerial bombing west of the camp, 2 girls killed.

2. Al Zawaida – house bombed, 3 persons killed.

3. Deir Al Balah:

‣ Displaced persons tent bombed;

‣ Drone fire, 8 persons killed, 7 persons wounded;

‣ Artillery fire north-east of town.

4. Al Maghazi refugee camp – farmland bombed.

Southern Strip

1. Khan Yunis and surroundings:

‣ Aerial bombing in town, 5 persons of the same family killed;

‣ Artillery fire east of town;

Bani Suheila – house bombed, mother and son killed;

Abasan Al Kabira – artillery fire, wounded persons.

2. Rafah – buildings exploded west of town.
