Wednesday, August 21, 2024 – The West Bank

Killed

1. Jamal Al Saudi, 21-years-old from Balata refugee camp. Shot on August 15th in a drone attack against the camp. Died of his wounds today. He is the fifth person killed in that attack.

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Hebron, Tell, Faqqua, Beit Qad, Dura, Atil, Nahalin, Shuweika, Hajja, Nablus, Beit Rima, Beit Ta'mir. During the day they raided Baqat al-Hatab, Qatanna, Biddu, A Ram, Balata refugee camp, Burka, Umm Safa, Habla, Marda, Aboud. 11 persons were arrested, a minor and two women among them.

A 19-year-old girl was detained at the Beit Furich checkpoint

Clashes and army attack against Palestinians

1. Nablus, the Old City - night raid, confrontations. One person wounded by live fire.

2. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus - raid and confrontations. 2 persons wounded, a 16-year-old among them.

3. Burka, east of Ramallah - raid with live fire and teargas.

4. Hebron - confrontations during which the forces threw a stun grenade into a Palestinians vehicle.

Palestinian attacks against the army

1. Habla, south of Qalqilya - shots fired at an army post.

2. East of Jenin - an improvised explosive charge set against a military force.

Demolitions

1. Anata, north-east of Jerusalem - demolition of foundations for a building under construction.

2. Umm Safa, north-west of Ramallah - demolition of a ranch that spreads over a dunam including a greenhouse, RV, trees and plants.

Attacks against colonists

1. Migdal Oz, south of Bethlehem - Palestinians burnt tires near the colony.

2. Hebron - shots fired at a colonist.

3. Beit El, north of Ramallah - improvised explosive charge thrown.

The Good News Arena
Zanuta, south of Hebron - the inhabitants of the locality, expelled due to colonist violence, returned to their village by force of a court edict that enables them to do so.
