The American–Israeli attack on Iran, 15th consecutive day of the ceasefire

Iran

1. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reports that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps opened fire at two ships in the Strait of Hormuz. One was hit north-east of Oman and damaged. The second was hit 13 km west of Iran’s coast; no damage reported. The Revolutionary Guards, for their part, announced they had seized two ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

Lebanon

1. Events:

‣ Israeli military attacks:

◦ drone strikes on the outskirts of Yohmor in the Western Beqaa (1 killed, 2 injured), a vehicle in Tayri (see separate report below);

◦ airstrikes on Taybeh, Qantara, Yohmor Al Shaqif (4 killed), Qaaqaaiyet El Jisr;

◦ artillery fire on Deir Seryan, Meiss Al Jabal, El Qsair, Rachaf, Touline;

◦ destruction of buildings in Khiam.

‣ Hezbollah attacks:

◦ rocket fire at Israeli military forces in Biyyadah and Maroun Al Ras;

◦ drone strikes on Israeli military vehicles in Qantara.

‣ Vehicle strike in Tayri:

◦ Israeli forces targeted a vehicle in Tayri. Inside were Al-Akhbar journalist Amal Khalil and independent photographer Zeinab Faraj. The two managed to flee to a nearby building. The army struck the building. A rescue team managed to extract the photographer while injured, but when it returned for the journalist, grenades were thrown at it and live fire was opened, preventing access. Amal Khalil remained trapped, and Lebanese officials called on the Red Cross to obtain approval from the Israeli army to enter and rescue her.Toward evening, it was reported that a Lebanese army patrol escorted a Red Cross team to extract Amal Khalil without waiting for Israeli approval. Near midnight, the journalist’s body was recovered.

2. Casualties:

‣ The National Council for Scientific Research reports that more than 50,000 housing units have been damaged or destroyed since March 2, 2026.

Syria

1. Provocation tour in the village of Hader in the Quneitra District, under Israeli military protection.
