Tuesday, October 22, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

General

Since noon, October 20th until noon, October 22nd (48 hours):

‣ 115 killed and 487 wounded persons brought to hospitals;

‣ Since October 7, 2023:

◦ 42,718 persons killed;

◦ 100,282 persons wounded.

This is the 18th day of siege on the Northern Strip, direct attacks against displaced persons centers in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, and Kamal Adwan Hospital, where displaced persons are forced to leave while being shelled.

General

Northern Strip

1. Jabalia refugee camp and town:

‣ Buildings exploded;

‣ Artillery fire all day;

‣ House bombed, 7 persons killed, others wounded.

2. Beit Lahia:

‣ Drones bomb displaced persons shelter, 3 persons killed;

‣ Artillery fire at school sheltering displaced persons, 12 persons killed;

‣ Aerial bombing of water dispensing station, killed and wounded persons, number unknown;

Kamal Adwan Hospital bombed, one person killed, others wounded;

‣ School bombed, 7 persons killed.

3. Gaza City:

Al Zeitoun (south-east) – bombing, killed and wounded persons;

Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Drone fire from the north;

‣ Artillery fire from the west, one person killed.

2. Al Bureij refugee camp - machine-gun fire. Aerial bombing.

Southern Strip

1. Abasan Al Kabira - bombing, 4 persons killed.

2. Khan YunisAl Mawasi bombed, one child killed, 15 persons wounded.

3. Rafah – house bombed from the north, 4 persons killed.
