Raids and Arrests

Jenin refugee camp and town (Day 555), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (Day 549), Nur Shams refugee camp (Day 535).

‣ Overnight raids conducted in Al-Mughayyir, Al Funduq, Faqqua, Salem, Qabatiya, Beit Ummar, Hableh, Kafr al-Labad, Madama, Sinjil, Muthalth al-Shuhada, Jericho, Deir Abu Mash'al, and Aqabat Jaber refugee camp. Daytime raids carried out in Sa'ir, Sebastia, Turmus Ayya, Abu Dis, Bethlehem, Kafr Malik, Burin, Beita, Beit Sahour, Qalqilya, Dheisheh refugee camp, Silwad, Abwein, Bir Nabala, al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya, Tammun, and Al-Ram. At least 28 arrested.

‣ A member of the popular committee in East Jerusalem was detained for hours of interrogation at the Russian Compound.

Israeli Military Attacks on Palestinians

1. Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem – Clashes. Suffocation injuries.

2. Bardala, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – A military exercise ignites fires on land west of the village.

3. Jenin – Raid on the city center in the Cinema Square area with stun grenades deployed.

4. Faqqua, east of Jenin – Night raid on a home.

5. Sa'ir, north-east of Hebron – Raid with tear gas deployed ahead of a home demolition (details under Demolitions below). Clashes erupted later.

6. Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarm – Night raid on homes. Some residents beaten.

7. Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem – Raid during which a resident was beaten.

8. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – Night raid on homes. Clashes erupted later.

9. Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah – Raid with massive tear gas deployment on the mourning tent for last night's victims.

10. Salem, east of Nablus – Night raid on a home.

11. Burin, south of Nablus – Clashes.

12. Madama, south of Nablus – Night raid on homes.

Demolitions

1. Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem – A resident was forced to demolish part of his home, built in 1967.

2. Sa'ir, north-east of Hebron – Forced eviction of a family from their home without allowing time to collect belongings, and demolition of a two-story home.

3. Jaba', north of Jerusalem – Military order for the confiscation of 5,283 dunams of land for "security needs."

4. Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem – Demolition of a home belonging to a family of 6.

Colonist Attacks on Palestinians

1. Khirbet Yarza, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – Cattle grazed on community land.

2. Khirbet Samra, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – Provocative patrols inside the community.

3. Raba, south-east of Jenin – A home attacked in the north-eastern part of the town; a father and his two sons beaten, requiring medical treatment; attempted theft of sheep.

4. Between Beit Ummar and the Karme Tsur colony, north of Hebron – Shepherds attacked in the Khirbet al-Qatt area.

5. Khan al Ahmar Mihtawish, east of Jerusalem – Grazing on community land.

6. Beit 'Anan, north-west of Jerusalem – Olive trees set on fire.

7. Khallet al-Hummus, Masafer Yatta – Takeover of a well; pumping and diverting its water to the outpost, and grazing on community land.

8. Az-Zawiya, west of Salfit – An agricultural farm set on fire.

9. Turmus Ayya, north-east of Ramallah – Agricultural fields set on fire; residents prevented from extinguishing the fire. Army prevents residents from firefighting and confronting the arsonists.

10. Jalud, south-east of Nablus – Fields set on fire. Residents confront the attackers.

11. Beita, south of Nablus – Colonists break into the A-Zahra area and later vandalize an agricultural structure in the Al-Qammas area.
