Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (85th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (79th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (66th consecutive day), Seida, Issawiya, Kobar, Qabalan. During the day they raided Burqin, Nablus, Anata, Jericho, al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya, Qaryut, Al-Mughayyir, Usarin, Silwad, Tammun, Abu Dis, Al Khader, Anabta, Bal'a, Tayasir, Qabatiya, Kafr al-Labad, Balata town, Danaba suburb (Tulkarm), At-Tur, Kharas. At least 17 Palestinians were arrested.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Nablus – in the morning a house is besieged in the western part of town, one of its inhabitants is wounded and arrested.

In addition, an 86-year-old man was wounded after being attacked by soldiers. In the evening a raid was conducted in the eastern part of town (preparing a colonist pilgrimage to Joseph’s Tomb) accompanied by a bulldozer.

Confrontations. One person wounded by live fire. At night, colonist pilgrimage to Joseph’s Tomb.

2. Jericho – entrances to town closed, curfew imposed for several hours.

3. Hebron – Ibrahimi Mosque closed to people wanting to pray.

4. Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarm – raid with stun grenades.

5. Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem – raid with teargas. Suffocations.

6. Usarin, south-east of Nablus – confrontations.

7. Qabatiya, south of Jenin – town raided. A child wounded.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

‣ Because of Passover holiday, in many parts of the West Bank colonists made pilgrimages to sites inside Palestinian localities, restricting the local Palestinian population.

1. Turmus Ayya, north-east of Ramallah – colonists graze their cattle on farmland.

2. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit – vandalizing farming structures and their contents.

3. Kisan, south-east of Bethlehem – colonists attack shepherds, wound several and steal sheep.

4. Wadi Qelt, west of Jericho – colonists attack a shepherd and rob him of 250 sheep.

5. Nablus – pilgrimage to Joseph’s Tomb in the eastern part of town.
