Thursday, September 5, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

General

From noon of September 4th until noon of September 5th:

‣ 17 bodies and 56 wounded persons brought to hospitals;

‣ Since October 7, 2023:

◦ 40,878 persons killed;

◦ 95,454 persons wounded;

‣ Palestinian Ministry of Health reports that Israeli army prevents entry of vaccinating teams into parts of the Southern Strip.

Attacks against Israel

1. Rockets fired at Nahal Oz.

Northern Strip

1. Gaza City:

‣ Sheikh Radwan (north-west) – house bombed, children wounded;

‣ Shuja’iya (east) – artillery fire;

‣ Al Zeitoun (south-east) – bombing around school, 3 persons killed and others wounded. Drone fires incendiary bombs, persons wounded. Heavy machine-gun fire. Massive artillery fire;

‣ City Center – house bombed, wounded persons;

‣ Western part of town – apartment bombed, 2 persons killed, 4 wounded;

‣ Al Sabra (south) – artillery fire.

2. Beit Lahia:

‣ Farmland bombed;

‣ Bombing near Kamal Adwan Hospital, 4 persons killed.

Central Strip

1. Deir Al Balah – displaced persons tents bombed near Al Aqsa Hospital, 5 persons killed, including children, 15 wounded;

2. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Helicopter fire from north of camp;

‣ House bombed, 2 persons killed;

‣ Artillery fire from north of camp.

3. Al Maghazi refugee camp– bombing, child killed, others wounded.

4. Al Bureij refugee camp – bombing.

1. Khan Yunis and surroundings:

‣ Khuza'a (north-east) – bombing;

‣ Massive artillery fire.
