Thursday, March 13, 2025 – The West Bank

The UN report of sexual and gender-based abuse by Israeli soldiers against Palestinian women in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. Trigger warning.

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Husan, Jenin refugee camp and town (52nd consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (46th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (32nd consecutive camp), Nablus, Ajjul, Qalqilya, Hebron, Deir Ghasana, Bethlehem, Kafr al-Labad, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Ein Al Sultan refugee camp, Qaddura refugee camp (Ramallah), Al-Bireh, Abwein, Kafr Malik. During the day they raided Issawiya, Kafr Qallil, Jericho, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Sa'ir, Beit Lid, Farkha, ad-Dhahiriya, Rujeib, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Beit Furik, Bruqin, Dura, Hizma, Turmus Ayya, Nabi Salih. 47 Palestinians were arrested, finally leaving 30 incarcerated. Among them – a woman-teacher 66-years-old and 4 minors. Many of those arrested are prisoners who had been released in the ceasefire agreements.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Husan, west of Bethlehem – in clashes begun last night and continued tonight, 6 persons were wounded.

2. Deir Ghasana, north of Ramallah – night raid with live fire.

3. Abwein, north of Ramallah – night raid and confrontations.

4. Jenin refugee camp – 52nd consecutive day, more demolition action.

5. Sa'ir, north-east of Hebron – confrontations.

6. Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron – stun grenades and teargas canisters thrown at vehicles at the entrance checkpoint.

7. Dura, south-west of Hebron – raid in which shops on the main street were forced to shut down. Confrontations. 3 persons wounded.

8. Beit Rima, north-west of Ramallah – confrontations.

9. Hizma, north-west of Jerusalem – raid of a tent sheltering a released prisoner (by the ceasefire agreement) and teargas fired.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Burqa, north-west of Nablus – colonists attack a farmer and cause fractures and bruises.

2. Nablus – night pilgrimage to Joseph’s Tomb in the eastern part of town. Inhabitants confront the army. 4 Palestinians wounded.

3. Tulkarm – colonists walk up to site in the eastern part of town under military protection.

4. Al Fakhit, Masafer Yatta – colonists under military protection steal 13 sheep.

5. An-Naqura, north-west of Nablus – stones thrown at Vehicles.

6. Al Maniya, south-east of Bethlehem – colonists throw stones at a house and vandalize a vehicle.

7. Jerusalem – an Israeli citizen fires and wounds a Palestinian inhabitant of the city who was not a threat. The court releases the shooter because “he is on the verge”.
