General

‣ 3 lethal attacks;

‣ 30 persons killed;

‣ 146 persons wounded;

‣ An Israeli soldier died by suffocation as he operated a generator;

‣ An Israeli reserves soldier was killed in battle in the Southern Strip, 2 badly wounded;

‣ 24 hours*.

Attacks against Israel

1. Rockets fired at Kerem Shalom.

Northern Strip

1. Gaza City:

‣ Sheikh Radwan (north) - night aerial bombing of a house, 4 persons killed and others wounded. Most of them children;

‣ Al Shati (north-west) - house bombed, people wounded, children among them;

‣ Shuja’iya (east) - artillery fire. House bombed;

‣ Al Zeitoun (south-east) - one person killed in a bombing. House bombed.

2. Beit Lahia - artillery fire.

3. Beit Hanoun - artillery fire.

Central Strip

1. Al Bureij refugee camp:

‣ Night bombing of a house - 7 persons wounded, mostly children;

‣ Artillery and machine-gun fire.

2. Al Mughraqa - artillery fire and building explosions.

3. Wadi Gaza - bombings.

4. Nuseirat refugee camp - aerial bombing.

Southern Strip

1. Khan Yunis - 21 persons were killed during the day in town and east of it, at Bani Suheila and Al Qarara:

‣ Artillery and machine-gun fire, house bombings especially in the eastern part of town.

2. Rafah:

‣ Houses bombed north-west of the town;

‣ Artillery fire at the northern part of town.
