Thursday, August 7, 2025 – The West Bank

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (209th consecutive day). Tulkarm refugee camp and town (203rd consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp )190th consecutive day), Atuf, Hebron, Jericho, Aqabat Jaber, Tammun, Qalandia refugee camp, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Burqa, Burin, Deir Istiya, Hares, Kifl Hares, Al Khader, Balata refugee camp, Al-Bireh. During the day they raided Dura el-Kari'a, Birzeit, Aqraba, Idna, Al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya, Aida refugee camp, Issawiya, Ramin. At least 23 Palestinians were arrested.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Idna, west of Hebron – confrontations.

2. Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho – night raid. Confrontations. 4 persons wounded by live fire.

3. Umm al-Khair, Masafer Yatta – after 10 days of burial prevention, an appeal to the Israeli Supreme Court, a hunger strike of 60 of the community women, and international pressure, the army passed the body of Odeh Hathalin to his family.

But in spite of the agreement, the army prevented visitors and activists from joining the funeral march. The colonist who killed him is now free.

4. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus – special force penetrates the camp, arrest.

5. Aqraba, south-east of Nablus – a military force arrests 3 Palestinians in the Khirbet Yanoun area, strips them and beats them up.

Demolition

1. Hebron – house demolition as collective punishment of prisoner Abed Alrahman Al Haimuni, who took part in the terrorist attack in Tel Abib where 7 persons were killed and 15 wounded in October 2024.

2. Silwan, East Jerusalem – a family was forced to demolish its own home in Wadi Qaddum.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Jaba', south-east of Jenin – 5 busloads of colonists with military security force drove to Sanur to declare the repopulation of this colony. Minister Smotrich and the head of the Samaria and Judea Regional Council were photographed against the background of hate slogans.

2. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – dozens of colonists attacked the outskirts of the village from the west, in the plane connecting it with Abu Falah. Unarmed inhabitants confronted the colonists. A military force opened teargas fire and threw stun grenades at the Palestinians.
