Killed

1. Ziad Abu Sbih, from ‘Arara (in the Negev).

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Dura, Hebron, Qarawat Bani Zeid, Jenin. During the day they raided Beit Ula, Beit Awa, Salem, Osarin, Nablus, Beita, Beit Liqya, Qaryut, Burqa, Issawiya, Al Arroub refugee camp, Balata refugee camp, Sarra. At least 8 Palestinians were arrested.

Clashes and army attacks against Palestinians

1. Jenin – night raid of the eastern neighborhood, with bulldozer. Confrontations.

2. Hebron – night raid of houses in the Old City. In one of the houses, Szoldier violence apparently caused the wife to miscarry. Strict restrictions on entry to Ibrahimi Mosque (Cave of the Fathers), although Prophet Mohammad’s Birthday was celebrated.

3. Beit Ula, north-west of Hebron – raid and one person wounded by live fire.

4. Salem, east of Nablus – raid and confrontations.

5. Nablus - raid and confrontations.

6. Beit Liqya, west of Ramallah – raid and confrontations. Live fire.

7. Issawiya, north-east Jerusalem – raid and confrontations.

8. Al Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron – raid and confrontations.

9. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus – raid with bulldozer. Confrontations.

10. Beit Awa, west of Hebron – live fire and wounding near the Separation Wall.

Palestinian attacks against the army

1. East Jerusalem – stabbing at Damascus Gate. A Palestinian inhabitant of ‘Arara in the Negev, stabbed a Border Policeman who was lightly wounded. Israeli forces shot and killed the stabber. Entrance gates to Old City of Jerusalem were closed.

Demolitions

1. Beit Safafa, south-east Jerusalem – inhabitant forced to demolish his own home.

2. Rafat, north-west of Jerusalem – demolition orders issued for two commercial buildings, 3 residential buildings and a stone-cutting plant.

3. Kafr A Dik, west of Salfit – Israeli forces uproot 25 olive trees over 30-years-old, because of their proximity to Bruchin colony.

4. Deir Ballut, west of Salfit – demolition orders issued for chicken coops.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Hebron – colonists open fire at houses in Jabar neighborhood and Wadi Al Hussein.

2. Beita, south of Nablus – colonists erected tents in the town outskirts.

3. Al Mu'arrajat, north-west of Jericho – colonist raided the community with his flock. Israeli Solidarity activists and a French documentary film director were arrested while trying to prevent this.
