General

‣ In the past 24 hours, brought to hospitals were

◦ 5 killed persons;

◦ 37 wounded persons.

‣ Since October 7, 2023:

◦ 48,458 persons killed;

◦ 111,897 persons wounded.

‣ Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen announced the Israeli electricity grid was disconnecting the Gaza Strip. According to Israeli media reports, the electricity supply from Israel to the Gaza Strip was disconnected on October 7, 2023 and was not renewed since, except of one sewage treatment plant reconnected in June 2024.

Gaza City – lighting bombs and shelling from the sea.

Al Maghazi refugee camp – drone bombing.

Shuja'iya, eastern Gaza City – shelling. 2 persons killed, 3 wounded.

Abasan Al Kabira, east of Khan Yunis – heavy fire from vehicle.

Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis – a woman shot and wounded in the leg, another person wounded.

‣ Philadelphi road, west of Rafah – heavy fire from vehicle.

Al Mawasi, Khan Yunis – waste piling up due to lack of fuel following closure of checkpoints.

‣ All the bakeries using cooking gas in Khan Yunis have stopped working following closure of checkpoints.
