Raids and arrests

‣ Massive raids of villages, refugee camps and towns continue with imposing curfew, mass detentions, ground interrogations, arrests and turning houses into army posts. Confiscation or looting of money and jewelry.

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (153rd consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (147th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (135th consecutive day), Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound, Idna, Salem, Beit Qad, Qaryut, Deir al-Ghusun, Qaffin, Dheisheh refugee camp, Al-Bireh, Ya'bad, Al-Yamun, Qabatiya, Zababdeh, Misilyah, Jaba', Meithalun, Anza. During the day they raided Atil, Kafr Dan, Sanur, Burqin, Silat al-Harithiya, Silat ad-Dhahr, Silwan, Qabalan, Beita, Beit Furik, Beit Duqqu, Al-Mughayyir, Shuafat refugee camp. At least 35 Palestinians were arrested, including 4 women (2 of them minors), 6 minors, 3 Waqf guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem – night raid. 100 persons detained, 16 arrested.

2. Jenin refugee camp and town – house demolition in camp continued. In town, two shootings. In one an inhabitant is wounded and arrested, In the other a vehicle is fired at, no casualties.

3. Sanur, south-east of Jenin – raid, detentions and mass arrested. Houses turned into army posts. 20 persons detained, most released. The raid lasted for 25 hours.

4. Silat ad-Dhahr, south of Jenin – confrontations during which improvised grenades were thrown.

5. Atil, north of Tulkarm – 2 inhabitants, one of them a minor, were badly beaten up and hospitalized.

6. Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm – 30 houses demolished, another set on fire as part of the plan to demolish 48 houses.

7. Al-Aqsa Mosque, East Jerusalem – night raid, 3 Waqf guards arrested, property vandalized inside prayer halls.

8. Al-Bireh – north of Jerusalem – house raided. Woman attacked, money confiscated or looted.

9. Shuafat refugee camp, north-west Jerusalem – house raided, its inhabitants beaten up and needing medical treatment.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Sa'ir, north-east of Hebron – colonist raid.
