Yesterday was the eve of the Muslim Holiday of Sacrifice (Eid Al Adha).

‣ 102 persons wounded; another 2 soldiers killed (12 within 48 hours), another soldier seriously wounded;
‣ 24 hours.

Attacks against Israel
1. A rocket fell into the sea near Ashdod. No alarm sirens.

Northern Strip
1. Gaza City:
‣ Battles south-east of the city around Al Zeitoun. Heavy machine gun and artillery fire. ‣ ‣ One person killed, people wounded;
‣ Gaza shore shelled from the sea. 3 persons wounded, a woman among them;
‣ House bombed in Al Shati refugee camp.
2. Beit Hanun - bombing of a school sheltering displaced persons. One person killed.
Central Strip
Her name is Afif Al Khateeb. 7-years-old. Al Bureij refugee camp. Died wearing the holiday sandals she put on when going outside
1. Al Bureij refugee camp - house bombed, 9 persons killed, including 6 children, a 9-month-old baby girl among them.
2. Nuseirat refugee camp:
‣ Artillery fire north of the camp;
‣ Aerial raid on the camp;
‣ Bombing of structures north of the camp.
3. Al Mughraqa - residential towers bombed.
Southern Strip
Holiday prayers on the rubble of the Khan Yunis Mosque
1. Khan Yunis - artillery fire at eastern part of the city.
2. Rafah:
‣ Battles in the eastern part of the town, machine gun fire, helicopter fire, burning of houses.
‣ 2 ambulances on rescue missions damaged by shots fired at them;
‣ Shabura displaced persons camp at city center - battles;
‣ Artillery fire at eastern part of town.
