Sunday, June 14, 2026 – The Regional War

‣ Iran announced it would respond with missile fire towards Israel in response to the bombing of a residential building in the Dahieh district of Beirut today (see report under Lebanon below). President Trump asks Iran and Hezbollah not to respond to the Israeli attack, in order not to jeopardize negotiations he says are close to a successful conclusion.

1. Events:

‣ Sirens at several points along the northern border due to suspected explosive drone infiltration, including Hanita, Adamit, Misgav Am, Kiryat Shmona (direct hit), and Ne'ot Mordekhay (direct hit).

‣ Several drones landed in open areas in the Western Galilee.

2. Casualties:

‣ 2 soldiers wounded — one moderately and one lightly — in southern Lebanon from a rocket hit.

◦ Airstrikes in: Beirut (Dahieh: 3 killed and 15 wounded), Choukine, Kfar Sir, Mayfadoun, Al Mansouri, Tebnine, Tayri, Mahrouna, Deir Aames, Hariss, Arab Salim, and Tefahta.

◦ Vehicle strikes in Deir El Zahrani (motorcycle).

‣ Hezbollah attacks on Israeli forces in Lebanon:

◦ Drones, explosive drones, and rockets in Majdal Zoun, Tayibe, Naqoura, and Rachaf.
