Raids and Arrests

‣ Overnight raids conducted in Tuqu'a, Zububa, Hebron, Zeita, Bal'a, Aida refugee camp, Arabbuna, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Qaffin, Iktaba, Jayus, Hableh, Silwad, Tammun, Az-Zawiya, Hajjah, Qusra, Huwara, Ras Atiya, Tell, Ya'bad, Qabatiya, Qarawat Bani Hassan, Aqabah, Salem, Nablus, Al Doha, Urif, Beit Ummar, Immatain, and Kafr Qallil. Daytime raids carried out in Asira ash-Shamaliya, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Tubas, Dar Salah, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Kobar, Jalbun, East Jerusalem, Zababdeh, Abu Dis, Azzun, Turmus Ayya, Deir Sammit, Qalandia refugee camp, Mukhmas, Hizma, and Deir Jarir. At least 48 arrested.

5. Aqabah, north of Tubas – Night raid with stun grenades fired at two residential homes.
6. Tammun, south of Tubas – Night raid with live fire on a residential home.
7. Tulkarm – Night raid on the Iktaba and Irtah suburbs, detentions, and field interrogations. Arrests.

10. Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem – Raid on the home of a detainee released today after 25 years in prison. Clashes across the camp. Tear gas fired. Two wounded by live fire. Army prevents Red Crescent ambulances from entering to evacuate the wounded. A fire broke out as a result of tear gas canister strikes.
11. Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem – Raid with tear gas and stun grenades deployed.
12. Az-Zawiya, west of Salfit – Night raid on a home.
13. Between Zeita, Jamma'in, and Deir Istiya, north-west of Salfit – Protest against the establishment of a new outpost between the towns. Army opens live fire towards protesters.

Demolitions, Confiscations, and Blockades
1. Jalbun, east of Jenin – A home under construction demolished.
2. Zababdeh, south of Jenin – Olive trees uprooted.
3. Ramallah – Gates and checkpoints around the city closed to vehicle traffic overnight.
4. Ein Siniya checkpoint, north of Ramallah – Severe traffic congestion due to intensified security measures and checks at the checkpoint.
5. Sinjil, north-east of Ramallah – Roads blocked with earthen mounds.
6. Awarta checkpoint, south-east of Nablus – An ambulance attempting to pass through the checkpoint towards Nablus was blocked.
7. Beita, south of Nablus – Town entrance blocked to vehicles.
8. Tell, south-west of Nablus – Two residential homes prepared for detonation and demolition as collective punishment. Hundreds of olive trees uprooted later.
9. Deir Sharaf checkpoint, north-west of Nablus – Checkpoint closed to vehicle traffic.
Colonist Attacks on Palestinians
1. Al Fureidis, south of Bethlehem – Gathering of colonists at the village entrance.
2. Idna, west of Hebron – Residents attacked under military escort. Army arrests two of the attacked.
3. Kur, south-east of Tulkarm – Mosque set on fire and hate graffiti sprayed.
4. Mitspe Yeriho colony, south-west of Jericho – Stones thrown at Palestinian vehicles.
5. Deir Istiya, north-west of Salfit – Farmers prevented from accessing their land north of the town.
6. Kdumim colony, east of Qalqilya – Stones thrown at Palestinian vehicles at a square near the colony entrance. Drivers forced to turn back.
7. Karne Shomron colony, east of Qalqilya – Colonists block the path of an ambulance evacuating a patient, forcing it to turn back.
8. Ein Samiya, north-east of Ramallah – Colonists set fire to all machinery and heavy equipment at a quarry near Al-Mughayyir.
9. Dar Faza'a, east of Ramallah – Provocations among the community's homes.
10. Tall 'Asur, east of Ramallah – Colonists set agricultural land on fire near the new outpost.
11. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – Homes attacked and hate graffiti sprayed. An attempt to burn a home was met with resident resistance.
12. Qusra, south-east of Nablus – Mosque set on fire and hate graffiti sprayed.
13. Huwara, south of Nablus – Colonists who are Border Police soldiers detain and beat a paramedic and another young man.
14. As-Sawiya, south of Nablus – Colonists attack residential homes. In the afternoon, a vehicle and four women detained under military escort.
