Saturday, November 23, 2024 – The West Bank

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Nablus, Kafr Sur, Old Askar refugee camp, Ya'bad, Beita, Kafr Abush, Qalqilya, Beit Dajan, Tulkarm, Kufeirit. During the day they raided Beit Furik, Beit Rima, al-Karmil, Sebastia, at-Tabaqa, Husan. At least 15 Palestinians were arrested, a minor among them.

‣ Since October 7, 2023, 11,8090 Palestinians have been arrested, 770 minors among them.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin – confrontations during a night raid.

2. Old Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus – night raid with bulldozer, destroying infrastructures. Forces raid homes, vandalize their contents. Snipers situated inside homes. Confrontations. Explosive charge used against bulldozer.

3. Tulkarm – night raid with live fire.

4. Beit Dajan, east of Nablus - night raid of homes.

5. al-Karmil, Masafer Yatta – raid and takeover of 7 vehicles, stun grenades hurled at homes.

6. Sebastia, north-west of Nablus – confrontations.

7. at-Tabaqa, south-west of Hebron – raid with stun grenades.

8. Beit Amra, west of Yatta – olive harvest prevented. Attack against olive harvesters and solidarity activists. Head of local council detained.

9. Husan, west of Bethlehem – main road blocked, preventing any entrance or exit. Teargas fired.

10. Furush al Hawa, west of Hebron – teargas fired at vehicles in the checkpoint. Suffocations.

11. Kafr Abush, south of Tulkarm – houses raided, detentions and interrogations on the ground. Minor arrested.

Palestinian attacks against the army

1. Jenin – explosive charge prepared ahead of time, used against military vehicle.

3 soldiers wounded.

Beit Furik

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – colonists backed up by soldiers attack inhabitants’ homes and throw stones. Inhabitants confront them, soldiers shoot at Palestinians. One person wounded by live fire.

2. Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus – colonists cut down olive trees.

3. Hebron, Chayei Sara Sabbath – secured procession exits Kiryat Arba colony, pass through the Old City yelling racist slogans and calling for ‘death to Arabs’.

Stones thrown at homes, ascent to roof tops and continued incitement cries.

4. At-Tuwani, Masafer Yatta – colonists enter village lands, throw stones, hit 2 Palestinians brothers (the Huraini family).

Later a military force raids the brothers’ family home and detains their father (who has been arrested numerous times and was even beaten up in the past). Later released on condition that he wouldn’t approach the colonists.
