Beginning of the Muslim Holiday of Sacrifice (Eid Al Adha)

‣ 3 lethal attacks;

‣ 8 soldiers willed as armored vehicle blew up in Rafah;

‣ 24 hours.

1. 2 rocket volleys at army base in Kisufim. Fire broke out.

2. At noontime, alarm sirens heard in Gaza Envelope.

1. Gaza City:

‣ Night shelling of 3 homes at Al Tufah and Shuja’iya neighborhoods in the eastern part of town - 19 persons killed, 50 wounded;

‣ Al Daraj neighborhood in city center - house bombed, 4 persons killed;

‣ Shelling east of town - 4 persons killed;

‣ Battles at Al Zeitoun;

‣ Shelling city shores from the sea.

1. Deir Al Balah - bombings and fire belt created east of town.

2. Al Mughraqa - houses demolished.

1. Khan Yunis - house bombed at Al Fukhari east of town.

2. Rafah:

‣ Artillery fire at center and western part of town;

‣ Battles at Al Sultan. “Tiger” armored military vehicle attacked with explosive charge and blown up. 8 soldiers killed. Artillery fire, helicopters;

‣ Artillery fire at Shabura refugee camp at city center;

‣ East of town, a child killed from machine gun fire.
