Saturday, July 18, 2026 – The West Bank

1. A fire broke out at the Havat Gilad outpost, east of Qalqilya, injuring 13. Colonists rushed to blame Palestinians and called for revenge, which underlies some of the attacks in the past 24 hours. An investigation found the fire was most likely caused by a discarded cigarette butt.

1. Fadi Hamdallah al-Na'san, age 17, Al-Mughayyir. Shot and wounded on July 11 during clashes and a colonist attack; died today from his wounds. He is the 7th person killed in the village since October 7, 2023.

‣ Jenin refugee camp and town (Day 552), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (Day 546), Nur Shams refugee camp (Day 532).

‣ Overnight raids conducted in Kafr Ni'ma, Tuqu'a, Deir al-Ghusun, Al-Mughayyir, Meithalun, Idna, Al Far'a refugee camp, Ya'bad, and Huwara. Daytime raids carried out in Burin, Khirbat Mas'ud, Husan, Khallet al-Hummus, Nahalin, Battir, Ramallah, Sinjil, Wadi al-Rakhim, Salfit, as-Samu, Burqa, Anata, and Deir Qaddis. At least 18 arrested, most of them former prisoners, two of whom had been released only two days earlier.

1. Khallet al-Hummus, east of Bethlehem – One wounded by gunfire near the separation wall.

2. Husan, west of Bethlehem – Large-scale raid on homes following last night's Molotov cocktail attack. Roads blocked, curfew imposed, and tear gas fired. The curfew also expanded to the neighboring localities of Nahalin and Battir.

3. Khirbat Mas'ud, south-west of Jenin – Raid on homes with threats made against photographing colonists.

4. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin – Night raid on homes.

5. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – Raid and closure of the western entrance ahead of the funeral of the 17-year-old who died from his wounds. Raid with tear gas deployed followed.

6. Deir Qaddis, west of Ramallah – Raid with tear gas deployed, igniting dozens of olive trees.

7. Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah – Night raid during which a resident was attacked and beaten with rifle butts; rushed to hospital.

8. Meithalun, south of Nablus – Night raid on homes, mainly of former prisoners.

9. Burqa, north-west of Nablus – Night raid on homes.

1. as-Samu, south of Hebron – Raid, escorted by the army, on homes in Wadi Jahish; sheep stolen.

2. Umm al-Khair, Masafer Yatta – Palestinian vehicles attacked.

3. Wadi al-Rakhim, Masafer Yatta – Colonists raid homes escorted by the army, steal livestock, and poison sheep (6 died).

4. Shib Al Butin, Masafer Yatta – Grazing on Palestinian land.

5. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – Residents confront invading colonists.

6. Jalud, south-east of Nablus – Raid on homes on the outskirts of the village; colonists climb onto rooftops.
