Killed

1. Osama Najem, Reine (Galilee, inside Israel proper).

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Halhul, Taffuh, Qalandia refugee camp (continued), Jericho, Al Shuyukh, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Tuqu’a, Al Maniya, Bethlehem, Atuf, Hares (continued), Al Mughayyir, Beitunia. During the day they raided Shu’afat refugee camp, ‘Anata, Idna, Anbata, ad-Dhahiriya, Deir Abu Mash’al, Madama, Qatanna. At least 16 Palestinians were arrested.

Clashes and army attacks against Palestinians

1. Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem – raid begun before midnight. One person wounded by live fire.

2. Hares, north-west of Salfit – continued raid. Siege on schools, teachers arrested.

3. Ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron – confrontations. 3 persons wounded by live fire.

Palestinian attacks against the army

1. Beit Guvrin army base (inside Israel proper) – a Palestinian citizen of Israel working for a contractor tries to stab a soldier and seize his weapon. Shot and killed.

Demolitions

1. Idna, west of Hebron – house and well demolished.

2. Al Jiftlik, north of Jericho – house demolished.

3. Hebron – At the Ibrahimi Mosque (Cave of the Fathers) Muslim diplomats are prevented from entering.

Palestinian attacks against colonists

1. Hizma - north-east of Jerusalem – incendiary bombs thrown at vehicle.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Umm Safa, north-west of Ramallah – colonists continue their bulldozer work at Jabal A Ras and get close to inhabitants’ homes.

2. Susya, Masafer Yatta – colonists raid olive groves (it is nearly the harvest season and the trees are filled with fruit) with their flocks and pails in order to steal the crop.

3. Anziyan, Masafer Yatta – a colonist riding a tractor runs over a flock of sheep.
