Monday, October 21, 2024 – The West Bank

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jamma'in, Beit Fajjar, Hebron, Nablus, Deir Abu Mash'al, Shuweika, Deir al-Ghusun, Silwad, Ramallah, Surda, Jalazone refugee camp, Idna, Anza. During the day they raided Jericho, Sebastia, Beit Furik, Madama, Husan, Qalqilya, Az-Zawiya, Kafr Qallil, Arura, Ajjul. At least 23 Palestinians were arrested, 3 minors among them.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Deir Abu Mash'al, north-west of Ramallah – night raid, many detained for interrogations, and home of Council head turned into an army post and interrogation center.

2. Shuweika, north of Tulkarm – night raid and confrontations.

Hebron. curfew imposed

3. Hebron – curfew imposed on many parts of the city in order to hold the colonist procession. Later – confrontations. A minor shot in the head and badly wounded.

4. Azzun, east of Qalqilya – one person wounded by live fire near the Separation Wall.

5. Madama, south of Nablus – raid and confrontations. A minor wounded by live fire.

6. Husan, west of Bethlehem – raid and shop closure implemented on the main street.

7. al-Karmil, Masafer Yatta - curfew imposed to enable colonist pilgrimage to ancient well.

8. Sebastia, north-west of Nablus – curfew imposed to enable colonist pilgrimage to antiquities site.

9. Kifl Hares, north-west of Salfit – curfew imposed to enable colonist pilgrimage to Joshua’s Tomb.

10. Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm – soldiers prevent olive harvest and fire teargas at harvesters and activists, as well as live shots in the air. Suffocations.

11. Al Khader, south of Bethlehem – olive harvest prevented, two persons arrested.

12. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – raid and confrontations.

13. Kafr Qallil, south of Nablus – raid, soldiers beat up a 14-year-old minor who is then hospitalized.

14. Az-Zawiya, west of Salfit – raid with live fire and stun grenades. Minors arrested.

Palestinian attacks against the army

 1. Dotan Checkpoint, south-west of Jenin – live fire.

Palestinian attacks against colonists

1. Migdal Oz, south of Bethlehem – incendiary bombs thrown at colony.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Qusra, south-east of Nablus – way prepared for Jews only, uprooting dozens of olive trees.
