Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya (2nd consecutive day), Jenin refugee camp and town (24th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (29th consecutive day), Nur Shams (15th consecutive day), Burqin, Silat al-Harithiya, Silwad, Beit Rima, Kobar, Nablus, Sa'ir, Hebron, Shuafat refugee camp. During the day they raided Silwan, Issawiya, At-Tur, Beit Ummar, Beita, Qalqilya, Al Khader, Al Far'a refugee camp, Wadi Al-Far'a, Kifl Hares. 13 Palestinians arrested, 4 minors and 2 women among them.
‣ Palestinian Prisoner Association publicizes a new report based on prisoner testimonies:
◦ Harsher attacks and stricter restrictions of detainees in Israeli jails;
◦ Exposure to extreme cold without appropriate clothing;
◦ Attacks against wounded persons and denial of medical treatment;
◦ Attacks with dogs and stun grenades every 2-3 days.
‣ The prisoners who were supposed to be released in the seventh phase of the ceasefire agreement have not yet been released.
Army attacks against Palestinians
1. Qabatiya, south of Jenin – second day of raid. Massive destruction of infrastructures and houses, explosion of farming structure.
Confrontations. Teargas fired at school, live fire. Minor wounded in the belly by live fire.
2. Jenin refugee camp and town – 35th day of raid:
◦ 27 persons killed
◦ Over 100 persons wounded
◦ 172 persons arrested;
◦ 20,000 displaced persons;
◦ 183 houses either totally or significantly destroyed.
◦ Water and electricity cuts.
‣ Today, too, houses continued being set on fire in the refugee camp. Tanks in Al Jabariyat neighborhood and around the refugee camp.
3. Nur Shams, east of Qalqilya, 15th consecutive day:
◦ 9,000 displaced persons;
◦ 10 houses demolished.
‣ Infrastructure destruction and siege continue.
4. Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin – raid and confrontations.
5. Burqin, west of Jenin – night raid. Massive destruction of infrastructures.
6. Sa'ir, north-west of Hebron – night raid of a former prisoner’s home. Renewed arrested and severe attack against his son.
7. East Jerusalem, Old City – raid with teargas.
8. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron – raid with teargas.
9. Al Khader, south-west of Bethlehem – raid with teargas. Suffocations.
10. Wadi Al-Far'a and Al Far'a refugee camp, south of Tubas – raid, closure of entrances, confrontations.
11. Beita, south of Nablus – raid and vandalization of vehicles.
Colonist attacks against Palestinians
1. Abu Shaban, east of Yatta – today, as on Saturday, farming structure set on fire and spraying of hate slogans.
2. Humsa, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – colonists raid the community, vandalize property and steal tent and equipment.
3. Kisan, East of Bethlehem – colonists riding ATV attack a flock and threaten its shepherd.
