General
1. First day of Rafah crossing opening.
‣ Of the 18,500 waiting for medical evacuation, a list of 27 was submitted today. Israel approved only 5, and even this after ambiguity and last minute delays.
‣ Of the 42 Palestinians returning to Gaza, Israel allowed only 12 to enter, and according to testimonies, only after intimidation and delays.
Northern Strip
1. Jabalia refugee camp and town:
‣ Artillery fire, one person killed;
‣ Intermittent shooting in the refugee camp, one killed, another injured;
‣ Shooting at a tent at Halwa displaced persons camp in Jabalia, fire broke out.
2. House at Al-Siftawi collapsed, no casualties.
3. Shooting near Abu Sharah Square, an elderly person injured.
