Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Harmala, ad-Dhahiriya, Huwara, Qalandia refugee camp, Anata. During the day they raided Urif, Jericho, Tulkarm, Beita, Beit Furik, Nablus, Salfit, Salem, ‚Issawiya, Anabta, Yatta, Al Khader, Nabi Salih. 63 Palestinians were arrested, 45 of them from Anata.

Battir, west of Bethlehem – soldiers attack olive harvesters and solidarity activists

1. Huwara, south of Nablus – night raid and confrontations.

2. Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem - night raid and arrests.

3. Anata, north-east of Jerusalem – 45 inhabitants arrested.

4. Lions Gate, East Jerusalem – restrictions of access to Friday prayers on Temple Mount (Al Aqsa compound). Policemen beat up several youngsters.

5. Beita, south of Nablus – reinforced alert facing Friday prayers and procession protesting land-grab on Jabal Sabih. Confrontations.

6. Beit Furik, south-east of Nablus – raid and confrontations. One person wounded by live fire.

7. Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus – soldiers prevent olive harvest, attack and confiscate picked olives, vandalize cars.

8. Battir, west of Bethlehem – soldiers attack olive harvesters and solidarity activists. Chase away, fire teargas and arrest 4.

9. Salem, east of Nablus – raid and confrontations.

1. Dotan Checkpoint, south-west of Jenin – shots fired at checkpoint, soldiers return fire at a vehicle that escapes.

1. Hizma, north-east of Jerusalem – olive harvesters attacked.
