The Regional War – Day 2 of the U.S.–Iran Memorandum of Understanding

Israel

1. Casualties:

‣ 4 soldiers killed and 17 wounded overnight, including a senior-ranking officer.

‣ Later during the day, a further soldier killed and 5 wounded.

Lebanon

‣ The agreement was signed, however Israel responded to the overnight events with 140 massive airstrikes across southern Lebanon.

1. Events:

‣ Airstrikes in: Zebdine, Kfar Roummane, Nabatiyeh Al Fawqa, Mazraat Kfar Jouz, Harouf (5 killed: an entire family), Charqiyeh (4 killed: an entire family), Qaaqaaiyet El Jisr, Berghoz, Doueir (7 killed and 10 wounded), Tebnit, Kfar Sir (2 killed), Al Jabbour, Arab Salim, Baalbek (3 killed and 6 wounded), Aabbasiyyeh (one killed), Qotrani (2 killed and 2 wounded), Aadchit, Jibchit, Kaouthariyet El Saiyad, Choukine, Habbouch, Al Rihan, Sejoud, Toul, Deir El Zahrani, Touline (wounded reported), Jmailiyeh (3 killed), Mayfadoun, and Jabal er Rafiaa.

‣ Artillery fire on: Kfar Roummane, Nabatieh (phosphorus), and Choukine (phosphorus).

‣ Fighting in the Jabal Ali al-Taher area.

2. Casualties:

‣ By the afternoon, the Lebanese casualty count stood at 47 killed and 97 wounded.

‣ Since March 2, 2026:

◦ 3,980 killed and 12,001 wounded.

Syria

1. A protest by families of Syrians abducted to Israeli prisons, held outside the international forces headquarters in Quneitra.
