Friday, August 29, 2025 – The Gaza Strip

General

In the past 24 hours:

◦ 5 cases of death by starvation, 2 of them children;

◦ 59 persons killed (23 of them aid seekers), 224 persons wounded (182 of them aid seekers).

Since March 18, 2025 – 11,178 persons killed, 47,449 wounded;

Since May 27, 2025 – 2,203 persons killed, 16,228 wounded, all aid seekers;

◦ So far, 322 persons have starved to death, 121 of them children.

Since October 7, 2023 – 63,025 persons killed, 159,490 wounded.

General

1. The bodies of Ilan Weiss and Idan Shtiwi, Israeli kidnapped persons, were rescued out of the Gaza Strip.

2. Continued intense attack against the Northern Strip and south-east Gaza City.

3. Massive displacement of inhabitants from the eastern part of Gaza City to the west, north-west and south to Deir al-Balah or Khan Yunis, especially the western parts.

Northern Strip

1. Jabalia Al Balad:

‣ Incendiary bombs in the night;

‣ Artillery fire.

2. Nazla Jabalia:

‣ Booby-trapped robots exploded;

‣ House bombed, 3 persons killed.

3. Displaced persons tent bombed in Al Soudaniya, 4 persons killed.

4. Shots fired at aid seekers in the north-west, 9 persons killed.

Gaza City

1. West:

‣ Night aerial bombing;

Tel El Hawa:

◦ Aerial bombing, 4 persons killed;

◦ House bombed.

‣ Night artillery fire;

‣ Drone fire in Al Shati refugee camp, a child killed;

‣ Random shots at houses in Sheikh Radwan.

2. East:

‣ Helicopter fire.

3. South:

Al Zeitoun:

◦ Booby-trapped robot exploded;

◦ Aerial bombing, 2 persons killed.

◦ Artillery fire near Azam Abdallah Mosque.

Central Strip

1. Al Bureij refugee camp – aerial bombing, 2 persons killed.

2. Deir al-Balah:

‣ House bombed, 2 persons killed, several wounded, mostly children;

‣ Aerial bombing, 3 persons killed.

3. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers in Wadi Gaza, north of camp, wounded persons;

‣ Aerial bombing, wounded persons.

Khan Yunis district

‣ An Israeli soldier killed in Khan Yunis by a shot fired from another soldier’s gun. A bullet from the other soldier securing a logistics convoy hit a soldier and killed him:

◦ Ariel Lubliner, 34-years-old from Kiryat Bialik.

1. West:

Al Mawasi:

◦ Night aerial bombing, 5 persons killed;

◦ Displaced persons tent bombed, one person killed, wounded persons;

◦ Bombing, one person killed, wounded persons.

2. North:

‣ Shelling from the sea of Al-Qarara, 2 persons killed;

‣ Artillery fire.

3. South:

‣ Shots fired at a displaced persons tent, a girl killed.

Rafah district

1. Artillery fire at western part of town.
