1. The ceasefire in Lebanon came into effect at midnight.
Israel
Home Front Command restrictions lifted across all of Israel except the northern border (to be lifted on Saturday night).
1. Events:
‣ Hezbollah launched:
◦ 2,500 rockets toward Israel;
◦ 5,500 rockets and 140 anti-tank missiles at the Israeli army in southern Lebanon.
2. Casualties:
‣ During the past 24 hours:
◦ 8 soldiers injured, 2 seriously, in explosive device detonations in southern Lebanon.
‣ Since March 2, 2026:
◦ 13 soldiers and 3 civilians killed from Hezbollah fire;
◦ 653 soldiers injured, including 41 seriously.
Lebanon
Refugees began returning to their homes in southern Lebanon.
1. Events:
‣ Majdal Selm - explosion of leftover munitions, a boy killed;
‣ 11 bodies recovered from under rubble in Tyre;
‣ First violation - motorcycle strike in Kounine, 2 killed.
2. Casualties:
‣ Since March 2, 2026:
◦ 2,294 killed (177 children and 274 women);
◦ 7,544 injured (704 children and 1,223 women);
◦ 100 medical staff killed and 233 injured;
◦ 6 hospitals closed.
