Palestinian Killed

The present report is an update of the previous one.

Palestinians killed

‣ 40,030 bodies have been brought to hospitals (registered, not all of them identified);

‣ Of these, 16,715 minors (at least 2,100 under the age of two);

‣ 11,308 women;

‣ 19,000 orphaned children now in the Gaza Strip;

‣ 41% of the families now caring for children not their own.

Israelis killed

‣ 1,240 Israelis and foreign nationals killed;

‣ In addition, 340 soldiers in ground warfare;

‣ 35 of the 101 hostages still held in the Gaza Strip are killed, with certainty.

Israelis wounded

‣ About 5,400 persons wounded on October 7, 2023;

‣ 2,270 soldiers wounded since October 7, 2923.

Palestinians wounded

‣ 94,616 Palestinians wounded, registered in hospitals;

‣ 12,000 badly wounded and patients awaiting evacuation. Since the closing of the Rafah Crossing, 129 persons wounded or cancer patients and their accompaniers evacuated.

Malnutrition

‣ 15,000 children suffer malnutrition;

‣ 3,288 of these suffer severe malnutrition and their life is in danger;

‣ 38 minors have died of malnutrition and dehydration.

Polio vaccination drive update

‣ The drive’s first phase has been completed, 187,000 children under the age of ten have been vaccinated with the first vaccine dose;

‣ These days, the second phase takes place, vaccinating 340,000 children under the age of ten with the second dose;

‣ In the third phase, 150,000 are planned to be vaccinated with a booster dose.

Food and hygiene

‣ During August, about one-million persons did not receive aid due to attack increase, ruined thoroughfares or limited movement of aid delegations.
