Palestinians killed
‣ 39,175 persons (according to Palestinian Ministry of Health) - number of bodies reaching hospitals, NOT including those buried in rubble or bodies not reaching hospital:
◦ Of these, 16,250 children and 11,000 women (Palestinian Ministry of Communication)
◦ As of June 30th (when number of persons killed reached 37,900), 28,185 persons were identified (according to Palestinian Ministry of Health), of them 9,351 children, 5,320 women, 2,414 elderly persons;
◦ Many bodies are unidentifiable due to great lack of means.
Khan Yunis
Israelis killed
‣ Since October 7th, 1, 528 Israelis and foreign nationals were killed. Of these, 328 soldiers in ground warfare.
Palestinians wounded
‣ 90,403 persons (Health and Communication Ministries):
◦ As of June 30th (when number of persons wounded reached 87,060), 60,464 persons were identified;
◦ 12,000 wounded and badly ill are waiting for evacuation;
◦ In July 25th, 15 children and an adult were evacuated to Spain.
Israelis wounded
‣ On October 7th 5,400 persons were reported wounded;
‣ In ground warfare, 2,161 soldiers were wounded.
Israeli hostages
‣ 115 hostages are held in the Gaza Strip. Of these, 41 are definitely killed.
Detainees
‣ According to Israel’s official notice, 4,000 Palestinians have been detained. No exact knowledge of number of persons still held in prison.
Demolitions and displacements
‣ Gaza Strip - 365 km2, 2.1 million persons, among them 1.9 displaced:
◦ 137,297 buildings totally destroyed;
◦ 135,142 residences totally destroyed;
◦ In the past 4 days, 182,000 residents of Khan Yunis and Deir Al Balah were displaced to the Al Mawasi area that was defined as ‘safe’;
◦ 12,600 were displaced from Al Bureij to Al Mawasi and Nuseirat.
◦ The eviction notices issued by the Israeli army stimulated instability of the various services;
‣ 20 food allotment spots were shut down, 10 desalination installations/water reservoirs/sewage pumping stations were shut down.
Aid delegations
‣ On the average, the number of aid trucks entering the Gaza Strip has gone down 56% since the Rafah Crossing was closed;
◦ In April (prior to the Rafah operation), the daily average was 159 trucks per day;
◦ In May (as the operation began) - 94 a day;
◦ In June - 77 a day;
◦ In July - 75 a day.
‣ In the Northern Strip, of 106 aid delegations coordinated with Israel in July, 43 actually entered;
‣ In the Southern and central Strip, of the 307 aid delegations coordinated with Israel in July, only 212 actually entered.
Humanitarian crisis
‣ The update since the previous report, by IPC estimate:
◦ 495,000 inhabitants suffer the highest level of hunger crisis (stage 5);
◦ The World Health Organization fears an outbreak of polio epidemic.
