Palestinian Killed
1. Since October 7, 2023, 71,419 Palestinians have been killed, including at least 22,000 children:

Palestinian Injured
1. Since October 7, 2023, 171,318 persons have been injured.
2. During 2025, 62,937 persons have been injured.
3. Since the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, 1,240 persons were injured.
4. During the month of December, 86 people were injured.
‣ 18,500 persons, including 4,000 children, are awaiting evacuation due to injury or illness. About 1,000 died while waiting for their delayed evacuation;
‣ As of August 2025, 4,800 cases of amputation of at least one limb were documented. 20% of them were children;
‣ By August 2025, amputation toll among children averaged 10 cases per day. The Gaza Strip now contains the highest concentration of child amputees worldwide.
Israelis and other nationalities injured
1. On October 7, 2023, 5,400 injured were reported.
‣ Since October 7, 2,995 soldiers have been injured (821 of them during 2025 on all fronts);
‣ According to data from the Rehabilitation Department of the Ministry of Defense, 22,000 wounded added in the last two years (from all fronts without breakdown by front):

Abducted and detained Palestinians
‣ There is no official report of the number of those abducted and detained.
1. As of October 11, 2025, it was estimated that more than 6,600 persons were detained, including:

‣ 1,700 were released during the prisoner exchange deal in mid-October 2025;
‣ 1,237 detainees defined as "illegal combatants" - most of them residents of Gaza – were imprisoned without indictment, and according to testimonies are suffering starvation, torture, medical neglect and sexual assault.
‣ According to the Committee Against Torture report, there is a significant decrease in the involvement of the legal or administrative system during their detention.
‣ 52 Gazans are known to have died while in custody (in prisons or military facilities) due to torture and medical neglect. However, the number is estimated to be much higher as thousands are still missing;
‣ According to testimonies of those released, they suffered physical and psychological torture, sexual assault, and starvation.
Abducted Israeli and migrant workers
1. On October 7, 2023, 251 Israelis and migrant workers were abducted, including 36 children.
‣ In addition, before October 7, there were already 4 Israelis in Gaza - bodies of 2 killed soldiers and 2 captured civilians.
‣ 84 abducted bodies were returned - 82 hostages who were killed on October 7 or during their captivity, including a baby and a toddler, and the bodies of the 2 soldiers, a total of 84 bodies. One body is still being held in Gaza;
‣ 166 abductees were released alive. The vast majority of them in prisoner exchange deals (8 live abductees were rescued without a deal);

‣ The testimonies of the released hostages include reports of starvation, physical violence, sexual assault and humiliation.
The extent of the destruction, displacement and humanitarian crisis
‣ The cost of the war of annihilation in Gaza is estimated at 352 billion shekels;
‣ 1.5 million Gazans live in tents or shelters.
1. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has destroyed or significantly damaged:

‣ In addition to bombings from the air, land and sea, Israel has used decommissioned APCs as means of sabotage: each vehicle is packed with 1-3 tons of explosives, The potential of the blowout is equivalent to the destructive power of a one-ton aerial bomb.
◦ Before the October 11, 2025 ceasefire, such booby-trapped APCs were detonated at a frequency of About 20 vehicles per day.
◦ Since the ceasefire, Israel has controlled 58% of the Gaza Strip and is actively attempting to expand it, especially in eastern Gaza City (see accompanying chart).
2. During 2025, Israel:
‣ Prevented the entry of 132,000 aid trucks;
‣ Bombed 40 community kitchens;
‣ Bombed 50 aid centers;
‣ Prevented the entry of 37 aid organizations;
‣ Only 128 out of 217 aid missions reached their destination.
3. During December 2025:
‣ As of early December, Israel had blown up 2,500 additional buildings, most of them in areas under its control (see accompanying chart);
‣ Due to the stormy weather, about 30 buildings (damaged in previous bombings) collapsed, burying 18 people. 40,000 Tents damaged;
‣ 30,000 buildings in danger of collapse, endangering the lives of 50,000 residents;
‣ 1.28 million people in need of winter equipment.

Health system
1. Functioning:
‣ Only 18 (out of 36) hospitals partially functioning;
‣ Only 12 (out of 27) field hospitals partially functioning;
‣ 2,000 hospital beds for 2 million people;
‣ 150% bed occupancy;
‣ Severe influenza pandemic;
‣ Preventing the entry of aid organizations, including Doctors Without Borders and UNRWA.
2. Shortages:
‣ 75% of laboratory test materials (chemistry);
‣ 72% of bacterial culture test materials;
‣ No equipment for Endocrinological, Oncological, kidney transplant, blood salts, and CBC tests.
3. The harsh weather conditions, poor sanitation, and the lack of winter equipment led to the outbreak of various diseases under what is titled as "wet tent syndrome" - respiratory diseases, skin diseases that mainly affect children, pregnant women, the elderly, patients with chronic diseases, and the disabled.
3. Reproduction and newborn survival:
‣ In early January, Physicians for Human Rights Israel, in collaboration with Physicians for Human Rights USA and the University of Chicago Law School, issued a report describing systematic harm to natural reproduction and newborn survival in Gaza:
"… births in dangerous conditions and the systematic destruction of health services for women, along with conditions of malnutrition, restrictions on the entry of food and medical supplies, including infant formula, created an environment in which the reproductive processes and survival of the mother were systematically destroyed..."
‣ According to UNICEF:
‣ 40% of pregnant and breastfeeding women suffered from malnutrition;
‣ 3 times more premature births or abortions;
‣ 3 times more deaths during childbirth;
‣ The chances of newborns dying in the first months of their lives increased by 20%;
‣ The number of newborns who died within hours of birth increased by 75%;
‣ 41% Declining birth rate.
Hunger crisis
1. During 2025, over 90,000 children under the age of five were treated for malnutrition. Not a single child met the basic requirements for a varied diet.
2. In December 2025, 76,000 children were checked and 4,900 of them were found to be suffering from acute malnutrition.
